This dish is well-loved by my kids, with the firm tofu giving a satisfying meaty bite soaked in delicious savoury sauce, and can be cooked in only 15 minutes!

3scallionssliced
1inchgingersliced
Sauce
1tbsplight soy sauce
1tspsesame oil
1/2tspsugar
1/2tbspdark soy sauce
1/2tbspoyster sauce
1cupwater
pepperto taste
Cornstarch Slurry
1/2tbspcornstarch
1tbspwater
Instructions
Prepare the sauce by mixing the sauce ingredients.
Shallow fry the tofu until it’s golden on all sides. Cut them into moderately thin strips and set it aside.
Stir fry the scallion (white part) and ginger until fragrant.
Add in tofu and the sauce and cook for another 2 minutes. Then pour in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
Add in scallions (green part), mix together and serve!
