Stir Fried Cuttlefish with Chives
Ingredients
- 300 g cuttlefish cleaned
- 100 g chives
- 20 g garlic
Sauce
- 4 tbsp light soy
- 2 tbsp black vinegar
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Peel garlic cloves and chop the chives into shorter strips. Cut off the fins of the cuttlefish to lay it flat, then score it in a checkered pattern and slice it into bite-sized pieces (the fins too!)Pro Tip: To save time, get cleaned cuttlefish without the head and tentacles.
- Make the sauce.
- Boil the cuttlefish for about 1 minute, then drain away the water and rinse it a bit.
- Saute the garlic until fragrant, then add the cuttlefish and sauce, and cook for about 6-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add in the chives to stir, then garnish and serve!
