Cuttlefish was always one of those dishes I ate at restaurants but never actually tried cooking myself, until now! This Stir Fried Cuttlefish with Chives is a popular Chinese dish that is so easy to make in just 15 minutes with basic ingredients! The ingredients are some cuttlefish, chives, garlic, and a few seasonings that you can easily find in any Asian grocery store or online, such as light soy sauce, black vinegar, cooking wine, pepper, sesame oil, and sugar.

Cuttlefish, also known as squid, is a type of mollusk that has a firm and chewy texture and a mild flavor. It is a good source of protein, iron, and zinc, as well as omega-3 fatty acids that are beneficial for your heart and brain. Chives are a type of herb that belong to the onion family and have a mild and onion-like flavor. They are rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, and folate, as well as antioxidants that can protect your cells from damage. Garlic is another ingredient that adds flavor and health benefits to this dish, as it has antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties.

The seasonings create a delicious savory sauce that infuses the cuttlefish and chives perfectly. The cooking process is incredibly simple, beginning with blanching the cuttlefish, then stir frying it with the garlic and sauce, and finally adding the chives at the end. The result is a dish that is flavorful, tender, and crunchy, and can be enjoyed as a main or side dish.
